I began writing my blog a few years ago. I am a mother of 3 precious children. My first child, Sarah I lost at 3 months. I was pregnant and on the pill and did not know the pill causes spontaneous abortions. I am motivated not only to save pregnant mothers, but to educate women and men about the dangers of contraception. Why do I go to the mill? As the years ticked by, I witnessed friends who made decisions I could not stop, although I tried to convince them otherwise not to have the abortion. I felt helpless. I witnessed the aftermath of their abortions as they struggled to forgive themselves and heal. I was the "reluctant pro-life counselor" to say the least. This blog, sidewalkhelp.com has been my online journal of sorts over the years as I share the miracles I witness and write about the hand of God behind my feeble efforts to suit up and show up and pray, counsel and most important, give dignity to these precious children who are dying a horrific death. My daily prayer is, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do." I hope to encourage YOU to become a side walk counselor either praying, holding a sign, or sharing with these men and women who tragically believe their precious child can be disposed of like trash and worse yet their body part or two sold to the highest bidder. Perhaps these true stories at the mill will inspire and encourage YOU to take the next right step over to the sidewalk at the local abortion mill in your community and TRUST God to use you to become a sign of hope between the cracks in the sidewalk with much light, love, and compassion. Isaiah 52:7 "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who bring good tidings who proclaim salvation"....

A few weeks ago I chased a beat up faded Toyota Corella with a few dents while running down the street, madly screaming, ” I can help you!”
Earlier that morning, Feeling the surge of the Holy Spirit pressing me forward, I reluctantly decided to stop by Planned Parenthood and chase a car. The car with two college age ladies, and a toddler strapped in a car seat came to a screeching halt.
I ran to the open car window on the passenger side and emphatically pleaded in a somewhat breathy Lauren Bacall voice, ” let me help you, girls! you don’t want to do it.” The young college age lady, said, “are you okay? I stopped because I thought you needed help.”
I am fine!! I am hear to help you.. you don’t want to abort.” Pull your car over let’s talk. The sheepish young girl pulled over and the conversation began.
Baby saved. Adoptive parents found and soon a baby will be born this summer. GOD IS GOOD and indeed His ways are not our ways. Our part? Suit up , Show up and Pray up… and you too might be chasing cars, perhaps along a sidewalk and not in the middle of the road.
Needless to say, indeed it was another day at Planned Parenthood.. chasing cars for God’s glory.
